Off-Broadway at New World Stages

On October 11, 2006, Tony Award-nominee Eartha Kitt Joined Annie Golden and a stellar cast in the first preview of Mimi le Duck, a new musical that officially opened Off-Broadway at New World Stages in New York City on Oct. 31, 2006 and ran for 58 performances. It closed December 6, 2006.

Brian Feinstein is a member of the Dramatist's Guild and ASCAP, a recipient of the Jonathan Larson Memorial Fellowship Award, and has written numerous musicals. He has an MFA from NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

Diana Hansen-Young is an artist and writer who has written and illustrated numerous books and short stories. A published member of Mystery Writers of America, she held elective office in Hawaii in the Constitutional Convention and State House of Representatives. She has an MFA from NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

Eartha Kitt (Wild Party, Batwoman) played Madame Vallet, a faded Parisian torch singer.

Annie Golden (Hair, Orange is the New Black) in the title role of Miriam Sanders, a discontented Mormon housewife and world-renowned duck painter from Ketchum, Idaho.

Ken Jennings appeared as the Spanish Gypsy (Urinetown, Slide Show, Sweeney Todd)

Robert DuSold (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables) appeared as Claude DeLuc, Oyster Shucker

Allen Fitzpatrick (Les Miserables, Driving Miss Daisy) played Ernest Hemingway & Mssr. La Poste

Marcus Neville (Kinky Boots, The Full Monty) played the role of Peter Sanders

Candy Buckley (Next To Normal, Judgment Day) played Clay, a sculptress of renown

The Adirondack Theatre Festival

Mimi Le Duck had its world premiere during the 10th season of The Adirondack Theatre Festival in Glens Falls, New York from July 21 - 31, 2004.

The Fringe Festival NYC

Mimi Le Duck played to full houses at the Fringe Festival in New York City in August, 2004.
